The outdoor festival season gets into high gear with Taicoclub ’13. Each year since 2006 the event has “curated” a connoisseur’s selection of electro and post-rock acts at a Nagano mountainside setting. This lineup welcomes veterans like Ricardo Villalobos and Eye from the Boredoms, with overseas firepower in the form of acts like seminal alt-hip-hop producer Prefuse 73, freakadelic bass sax player Colin Stetson and Georgia indietronic group Of Montreal. As always with this popular festival, held in a smallish, mountain venue, advance tickets are selling quickly and door tickets are not available.
