The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
A very well done video game

This adventure animation is exciting, kinetic and captivating. The second film, after Avatar, to make proper use of this pesky 3D fad, CG and motion-capture. It’s everything they say it is and (you knew this was coming) less. I had a great time, or at least my eyes did, but my brain forgot it instantly. Unlike other Spielberg classics, there’s no back-story, no attempt amid the relentless spectacle to involve us emotionally. We aren’t made to care and the whole thing eventually resembles a very well done video game.
