Back in 2009 we covered the incredible story of the twins Isa and Ana Stenzel Byrnes, both alive because of organ transplantation, who have campaigned to relax the laws regarding this practice in Japan. Now you can watch Marc Smolowitz’ award-winning documentary, The Power of Two, at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

In addition to Academy Award-nominated Director Marc Smolowitz and Isa Stenzel Byrnes, LDP politician Taro Kono will be attending the screening. Kono is a strong advocate of organ transplantation after having donated to his father, Yohei Kono—who was a Minister of Foreign Affairs.
