German-born, American, Spanish and English-raised Thomas Melchior is one of those DJs who’ve remained underground enough to reinvent themselves successively over a long career. Now identified with a sound that offers an accessible, sometimes even cute take on minimal techno, Melchior launched his calling as part of the UK jazz-funk scene before traveling through acid house and garage to techno. Host Fumiya Tanaka has an equally impressive resume, hosting his venerable Chaos nights for going on two decades.
