This fluffy Hallmark card of a movie may not have everything you want in a romantic comedy, but it’s probably got everyone. It tries to be all things to all romantics, but with more than 20, whatchacallem, stars in the cast and a dozen or so plots and subplots, the only thing it really achieves is plot paralysis. None of the stories work, it’s frequently precious, overly cute, and eventually a real watch-watcher. It’s more like thumbing through a movie magazine. And on top of that, it’s a bait-and-switch, because a continually smirking Ashton Kutcher gets the most screen time. It’s like bad TV. Go rent Love, Actually.
