Preeminent Hollywood magnate Bruce Nachbar, veteran of such productions as The Wonder Years, House M.D., and Monsters Inc., is conducting a two-day bilingual workshop in Tokyo for anyone interested in learning—or improving—their understanding of practical film production.

Touted as schooling you in the “Hollywood way,” the interactive seminar will cover how to ask questions and make decisions as a filmmaker, how to interact with a director, and how to use all-important scheduling and budgeting software—with a copy of the Tinsel Town standard Chimpanzee software up for grabs for one of the first 25 registered punters. All participants will also obtain a 20% discount on Jungle software for the week following.

“How to Create a Successful Movie Production… Smoothly” will be held in central Tokyo. The price for the full 16 hours is ¥25,000—a snip compared to what you’ll save on your productions afterwards.
