You could say it with flowers, but sometimes a cut-out paper figure does the job best. Architect and designer Naoki Terada’s limited edition cards promise to do all the legwork for you in a variety of potentially tricky situations. The “I’m Sorry!” version can execute a humble apology to a disgruntled friend with more simplicity and grace than you might manage in real life, but these figures aren’t limited to expressing feelings of regret. Other models can deliver a heartfelt kiss with minimal muss or fuss, a friendly pat on the head, or a simple invitation to go cycling. “Let’s roll!!” indeed.
