Provided you don’t require wi-fi for your smart-device, Noma Doma will find you the nearest wi-fi zone catered to your needs anywhere in Japan. Flick on the GPS to find accessible spots. Filter by category, such as chain cafés, shops, co-working spaces, etc. Click on a map pin to find the name, category, outlet availability, and smoking details. Scroll down to find contact info and a specific map, and save your favorite spots for next time. Though the app is in Japanese, the GPS search and simple interface means you can get by with skimpy knowledge. FYI: あり (ari) = there is, 不明 (fumei) = don’t know. And for smoking, 喫煙 (kitsuen) = entirely, 禁煙 (kinen) = nonsmoking, and 分煙 (bunen) = separated sections.
