Mercurial guitarist Yoshihide Otomo and his revolving cast of avant-gardists settle into venerable jazz club Pit Inn for three days of “song, improvisation and soundtracks.” The first day features, among others, breathy vocalist Kahimi Karie, guitarist Seiichi Yamamoto (Rovo, etc.) and laptop doyenne Sachiko M. The second installment will see Otomo’s trio joined by singer Ami Yoshida, while for the third night, the guitarist and friends will perform music from their soundtrack to the NHK drama Sono Machi no Kodomo.
