Big and Freaky Friday did the body-swap thing better. This vehicle for teen heartthrob Zac Efron (currently under indictment, I believe, for the three High School Musical movies) has 37-ish loser Matthew Perry regretting doing the right thing by his pregnant high school girlfriend and passing up a sports scholarship. Through some pop movie magic, he gets the chance to be the title, but today, not 20 years ago. Whatever. Actually, this retread is not as bad as I’d anticipated, and it’s worth sitting through for the hilarious, scene-stealing Thomas Lennon as his dotcom millionaire sidekick and adult fanboy.
