When Henrietta Morgenstern of Dutch electro duo Anatopia sings, “Oh baby, where is my hard drive? I hope I didn’t lose my hard drive!” who are we to disagree? Yoking the male producer/female singer approach of The Kills or Crystal Castles to the Euro kitsch of Nina Hagen and a minimalist, all-white look, Anatopia have been killing audiences from Germany to Israel and are now setting their sights on Japan. A slew of cool domestic indie acts join them in a busy two-week tour trawl of Tokyo dives.
