A month-long celebration of black culture kicks off at Fiat Caffé with a “Tribute to Black Dance.” Among the performers and troupes taking the stage will be Ameenah Asante, Japan Salsa, You Dieng and Company, and the Capoeira Zoadour Academy. Next up is a free-for-all musician’s evening entitled “BHM Musicians Jam Session at the Pink Cow,” followed by a Mardi Gras party at cocktail lounge 57 in Roppongi. The action returns to The Pink Cow for the last event, “Free Your Mind (Vol.2) Soul Food Dinner and Tribute to Black History,” during which visitors can chow down on dishes like black-eyed peas and Jamaican jerk chicken while matching wits in a quiz on black history.
