Renowned for its carefree, irreverent style, Spanish clothing brand Desigual (Winbell Plaza Harajuku, 6-10-8 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku) is attracting kids “ready to go on an adventure” with its Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The girls’ range features more items and possibly seems more adventurous due to the absence of pastels, but the brand’s take on licensing is refreshing: the Cirque du Soleil line is a riot of eye-catching prints and colors, while the Disney collection is a unique look at those natty rodents. Sizes start from 4 (100cm Japan) and prices from ¥4,900. A new branch is slated for the newly opened Shisui Premium Outlets in Narita.
