They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so if you’re looking for a way to impress that special fella this Valentine’s Day, pick up some holiday treats from Bella’s Cupcakes. The lineup includes chocolate cupcakes decorated with red hearts and kisses, and “red velvet” cupcakes with cream cheese frosting—specially made just for Valentine’s Day. Boxes of six (¥2,400) can be ordered by email (orders@bellas-tokyo.com) and online. Or you can stop by and say hello to the Bella’s Cupcakes staff every Friday from 11am-6pm in their mobile shop outside National Azabu supermarket in Hiroo (www.national-azabu.com). In addition to the Valentine’s cupcake box, visitors can pick up individual cupcakes. Regular varieties include chocolate, vanilla, “vanilla choc” and candy (¥290), while the “signature” menu ranges from lemon and green tea to coconut-raspberry, pumpkin, espresso, toffee-caramel and chocolate marmalade (¥325).
