A lot of DJs now base their careers in Berlin. Few were born there. Sammy Dee is a native Berliner whose two-decade career spans the city’s mythical clubs from Tresor to Panorama Bar. He follows up last year’s Resident Advisor’s 10th year anniversary Tokyo bash with an appearance at popular dance club Eleven for the Domino series. With a sound that strips techno to the bone, Dee’s latest projects are Half Hawaii, a double DJ project with Bruno Pronsato, and new label Ultrastretch, created as a platform for releases by emerging underground producers.
