As the end of Lent approaches, some treats may be cute enough to tempt those who have sworn off sweets. These adorable Easter doughnuts from Krispy Kreme are a perfect example. The egg-shaped chicks are filled with a sweet caramel cream and the bottoms sprinkled with roasted almonds. The colorfully-decorated marshmallow vanilla doughnuts make for a perfect substitute in an urban Easter egg hunt. If you’re not sure which to try first, the chicken or the egg (¥230 each), try both with the Easter dozen (¥2,000) and half dozen (¥1,200) boxes available in limited quantities until May 20.
