70 minutes from Tokyo, BOTANICAL POOL CLUB in Chiba is a perfect resort escape within reach of the city. This summer, the property is offering a day-trip lunch BBQ plan running through October.
The spread includes hamaguri clams and abalone from the surrounding waters, herb-grilled sausage and lamb chops, seasonal vegetables, and a closing bouillabaisse slow-cooked in a Staub. Optional upgrades bring live Ise lobster and Kisarazu beef into the mix.
The plan includes a can of BPC’s original beer, brewed by Kaigan Brewery, a Boso Peninsula craft brewery. A free-flow option is also available.
Lunch BBQ Plan (with Original Beer)

A separate daytime use fee applies: ¥15,000 (5 hours) / ¥25,000 (9 hours). Children 12 and under: half price. Children 2 and under: free.
No need to bring anything; all ingredients provided.
The Rooftop Seat is also available for the sunset session, 5:00–8:00pm.
BOTANICAL POOL CLUB
BPC is an ocean-view resort hotel in Kyonan, Chiba, built around the concept of a pool club set within dense botanical landscaping. The 10,000-square-meter property is planted with over 300 species. Two outdoor heated pools run year-round: the BLACK POOL, a 40-meter infinity design that reads against the horizon, and the SIGNATURE POOL, a circular fire-ringed structure with poolside beds and parasols. The resort is equipped with two saunas: the SWEAT LODGE, fitted with a cold-water bath and jacuzzi, and the SWEAT BOX, a glass-walled container sauna at the pool’s edge with botanical views. A poolside bar carries around 30 food options alongside tropical cocktails and soft drinks.
