Brooklyn Made

Brooklyn Made, an initiative of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, has opened its first international pop-up store in partnership with Taisho University. The space brings together Brooklyn-based artists, makers, food brands, and designers in Tokyo.

The project highlights cultural exchange between Brooklyn and Japan. The pop-up includes exclusive collaborations developed specifically for the Tokyo store including products with Natchie and Maptote inspired by Sugamo and Brooklyn.

The opening celebration included Toshima City Mayor Miyuki Takagiwa and Taisho University Chairman Kashiwagi, alongside participating Brooklyn artists and makers.
