One of the largest creator events in Japan is back, celebrating their 10 year anniversary with the theme ‘Big Love’! This year, over 3,000 creators from all over the country will be at Handmade in Japan Festival, showcasing and selling their extraordinary handmade creations. From exquisite jewelry and quality clothing to homegoods and personalized artwork, this event is a perfect place to find unique gifts and souvenirs.
Prepare to be captivated by live performances from 8 sensational Japanese artists, including TENDRE, Kimyo Reitaro, NakamuraEmi, and Qnel. For wrestling enthusiasts, brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping wrestling match presented by DDT Pro Wrestling!
It wouldn’t be a festival without tasty treats, and Handmade in Japan is offering an array of delicious handmade food. The Food and Cafe area features creations like homemade jams and adorable dog-shaped bread. Be sure to visit the craft sake corner, offering an array of artisanal beverages including wine from the Iwate prefecture.
Discover a haven of greenery at the Green & Flower corner, showcasing houseplants, succulents, and stunning flower arrangements. Engage in up to 40 hands-on workshops led by experts, where you can learn the art of clothing dyeing, master kintsugi, or create your very own terrarium masterpiece.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, the festival will have special features like a wind chime display of over 100 wind chimes, and a ‘fireworks’ workshop where visitors can collaborate to make a beautiful communal mural. Don’t miss a chance to get involved in these amazing handmade creations!
