Cross-continental clubbing project Fiercesounds—an offshoot of media collective Fierceheads—unleashes its latest night of dubstep, breaks and ghetto electro spiced with old school techno and hip-hop. Making his Japan debut is DJ Warlock, a veteran “bass invader extraordinaire” and owner of the UK’s uncompromising Rag & Bone records. Heading up the domestic side is highly regarded hip-hop turntablist and trackmaker DJ Baku who, with his own Popgroup, is engineering a likeminded music and multimedia collective in Tokyo, most visibly in the upcoming April Kaikoo festival.
