There’s no such thing as a free lunch, but if you stop by R25 Café before the end of the month, you can at least get some free noodles (1F Recruit Ginza, 7-3-5 Ginza, Chuo-ku; 03-3575-6825). Every day from 11:30am-4:30pm, conbini chain Lawson’s will be handing out half-size portions of its brand new yaki-pasta. The lasagna-like dish features layers of cheese, hamburger meat and a Bolognese sauce atop a mochi-mochi pasta bottom. But you might want to show up early—freebies are limited to the first 200 customers each day. The pasta will go on sale at Lawson stores across Japan in October.
