Metropolis is collaborating with our stock image supplier, 123RF, to find and reward the best shot of hanami revelry captured on a smartphone using the free 123RF On-The-Go mobile app. Register as a 123rf member then upload your best photo of the annual sakura celebrations with the keyword “MetropolisTokyo”. Photo must include both cherry blossoms and people. We’re looking for creative shots that combine the two elements—not just close-ups of flowers or trees. The top photo chosen will receive USD $300 from 123RF and be printed as the Metropolis “Photo of the Week” in our April 18 issue. Second prize will receive a traditional kitchen knife from Kamata Hakensha while third place will receive a dinner voucher for a romantic dinner for two at 148 Azabu Jyuban courtesy of Metropolis.
