Singer-songwriter, harpist extraordinaire, muse and midnight fantasy to a million indie rock geeks, Joanna Newsom arrives to make amends for a cancelled 2009 tour. It’s been four years since the monumental, storytelling fantasy of the blonde beauty’s breakout album Ys, and followers are eagerly anticipating some new material. Newsom is unlikely to disappoint—over the last year, she’s been testing out new songs in US dates, including epic numbers that stretch to 12 minutes and others that feature her on piano.
