What do No Doubt, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Eminem have in common? They’ve all appeared on MTV Jammed, a program that features big-name artists putting on a spur-of-the-moment, surprise concert. MTV Japan’s version of the show has brought R&B duo Chemistry to a Kobe amusement park and pop songstress Mika Nakashima to a very lucky Chiba high school. This year’s seventh outing will star NYC-based soul diva Juju. The singer stopped by MTV Studios to announce the concert and give a live performance of My Little Lover’s “Hello, Again,” off her soon-to-be-released album of covers, Request. Fans who want Juju to show up at their event can apply on the MTV site until October 31; the concert is planned for sometime in November or December and will be streamed on video site Gyao.
