If you’ve ever signed up for one of those unlimited data plans on your keitai, you’ve almost certainly had to agree to be a “reasonable user” by not actually downloading too much stuff and clogging up the pipes. However, it seems not everyone has been paying attention to that, as all the major networks are now bleating about folk going buck wild and downloading mobile porn on their phones left and right.
With the resulting network congestion apparently peaking around midnight as Tom, Dick and Taro tuck into some hearty jerk chicken, it seems the carriers are about to start cutting off heavy users.
Still, AV companies like Soft on Demand won’t be too worried—at the last reckoning, the king of J-Porn was pulling in ¥15 million a month from phone users alone. Nice.
