In a land where green Tabasco sauce is actually considered spicy, it can be hard for dedicated chili aficionados to get a decent fix. You’ll find frozen (and, depending on the season, fresh) chilis covering the whole of the heat spectrum, from comparatively benign jalapenos to Bhut Jolokia, a pepper so potent there’s been talk of using it in riot grenades in India. Hot pepper snacks, sauces and seasonings are also in stock and, if you can’t handle the Japanese, there’s a primitive computer-translated English interface.
