After 33 performances in 18 locations, The Japan Contemporary Dance Network winds up its tenth “We’re Gonna Go Dancing!!” program with a weekend of events in Tokyo. Among the acts slated to perform March 5-6 are Vienna-based body-and-voice performer Akemi Takeya, who will present Feeler, and the duo of Hiroyuki and Masanori Hoshika who, along with sound/vocal artist Haco, will perform Machine Guy. The final day, March 7, consists of a special program of encore performances of favorite pieces from the last decade, among them one by Shigemi Kitamura, otherwise known as “Shigeyan,” who will reprise her 2000 work i.d. JCDN is making a party of it, with drink and food included in the ¥1,000 ticket price.
