The world’s “biggest physical social network” returns as part of Tokyo Designers’ Week. Conceived by Tokyo architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham, PechaKucha is a brainstorming session where presenters are limited to 20 slides for 20 seconds each. Launched in 2003 for designers, PechaKucha (Japanese for “chit chat”) now takes place in over 560 cities around the world. The TDW special will feature presentations by renowned architect Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, architectural aid group Archi Aid, and Dutch web designer Mark van Iterson.
