Actress Rie Miyazawa, 36, who provides the Japanese narration for the French documentary Oceans, says she found the work to be a moving experience. When dubbing a scene of a mother walrus holding her baby, Miyazawa said she felt extremely emotional. “Probably it was because I’ve also got my own little one to raise,” she said, referring to her first daughter, born in May. “When I look at her, I’m always astonished at how fast we grow up. I’d still like to grow more myself.” It’s been a banner year for Miyazawa, who in November was also chosen as one of the Vogue Nippon Women of the Decade.
