Shibuya Otona Halloween Party 2015
Live music, DJs, drums, and more in Hikarie
By Metropolis
Many Halloween events are designed for kids, but the Shibuya Otona Halloween Party is—as the name implies—aimed squarely at adults. In fact, you must be 20 to enter, and no children are allowed even if accompanied by parents.
It all goes down October 24 at Shibuya Hikarie. This is Shibuya’s biggest Halloween party, with live disco music, DJs, an international costume contest, performances featuring Japanese wadaiko drums, and more. Once you’ve partied up an appetite, there’ll be exquisite eats from France, Italia, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Cambodia, and Japan to satisfy whatever craving you’ll have on the night. According to their website, a star guest will appear at some point during the party. Who could it be now? Well, we’re pretty sure it’s not Men at Work … but the only way to find out is to be there!
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. at Hikarie Hall A, 9F. Nearest station is Shibuya. If you are not a Japanese citizen, you must show either your passport or residency card. Admission is ¥1,000, which includes two tickets for food and drink.
The event is sponsored by the Shibuya Otona Halloween Planning Committee with special support from Asahi Breweries, Ltd.
