The worldwide dance music scene is no longer just about New York, London, Berlin or even Tokyo. Over the past 25 years, Filipino DJ duo dOSe have been instrumental in expanding the frontiers of club music to places like New Delhi, Saigon and, of course, Manila. Known as the “Gilles Peterson of the Philippines,” Edge is the force behind record label Sounds Good, while Sunny’s passion for clubbing goes back to his days at New York’s legendary Paradise Garage. The duo arrive in Tokyo at the invitation of Marshall Boardman, founder of deep house event Solid, for a night of beats and beautiful people at Xex in Daikanyama.
