Are you looking for a fun night of Las Vegas-style boxing in Tokyo? If so, join the good people of Club 360 for their annual Executive Fight Night (EFN), where fellow salarymen hang up their neckties to spar it out in front of a roaring 500-plus audience. Oh, and did we mention that it’s all for a good cause?
To date, EFN has raised over ¥30 million for Japan-based charities. This includes Shine On! Kids, a Tokyo-based group that works towards empowering and improving the lives of children suffering from cancer.
The black-tie event, now in its sixth year, takes place in the glamorous Grand Hyatt Hotel Ballroom, in Roppongi Hills. While all in good fun, past events have seen contenders—mostly foreign residents—from rival Tokyo companies take to the ring to defend their corporate honour! Competitors spend several months preparing for the night—much like Sylvester Stallone in Rocky—and participation is open to anyone interested, with registration for the 2017 EFN open now.
