Next in a series of events celebrating 140 years of relations between Japan and Austria is Spot On Wien, which brings five days of cutting-edge Viennese fashion, design and music to Tokyo. As guest country at this week’s 100% Design Tokyo (part of Tokyo Designers Week), Austria exhibits the latest creations in fashion, furniture and products, among them the winners of Pure Austrian Design’s first-time “5 Faces Award.” The music segment will see DJs and producers from Vienna’s influential downtempo electronic scene mount the stages of some of Tokyo’s trendiest venues, including one-man beat-maker Dorian Concept and electronic pioneer DJ Patrick Pulsinger (a.k.a. Elektro Guzzi).
Spot On Wien
