Britain’s flagship ballet company visits Japan to perform much-loved chestnuts as well as a lesser-known work. To be staged are Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet set to music by Prokofiev and Frederick Ashton’s La Fille Mal Gardee with music by Hérold. Also on the bill is McMillan’s lesser-known Mayerling, set to music by Franz Liszt.
