Book hounds get a rare up-close-and-personal look at world-famous authors at the first-ever Tokyo International Literary Festival. Nobel laureate JM Coetzee, Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Díaz (pictured), Granta editor John Freeman and Kyoto resident Pico Iyer are among a number of literary giants who will be in attendance. They will be giving readings and participating in group roundtables at venues ranging from the University of Tokyo and Waseda University to more intimate locations like SuperDeluxe and Rainy Day Bookstore & Café.
