Incredibly cheesy take on the old devil-at-the-gates theme, in which a small, eclectic band of people in a house/saloon/shopping center fight off monsters/zombies/aliens/dark forces that have already eaten/turned/abducted the rest of the town/country/planet. This one’s probably worse than most for starring Hayden Christensen as the hero. The bad thingies this time are these Dark People that resemble poorly manipulated shadow puppets encroaching from all sides. If you stray too far from the light, they erase you and your clothing drops to the floor (maybe they’re alien nudist camp recruiters).
