Over the last decade, globetrotting artist and fashion designer Sanae Takahata has exhibited her “dress-shaped mixed-media sculptures” in venues ranging from temples to posh galleries. She heads to the historic Galerie Paris in Yokohama to unveil the latest iteration of her wearable art series. The exhibition is based on the theme of “Life’s Changes and Shifts,” which Takahata explains is an attempt to create something eternal in the face of life’s brevity and impermanence.
