The rescue in Central America of a CIA operative by a team of Navy Seals reveals a plot to suicide-bomb 18 US cities, and the boys are off to stomp some terrorist ass in a series of loosely connected firefights. The deal here is that the Navy Seals are played by real-live, active-duty Navy Seals. Highly trained (albeit not in acting), they impart a certain authenticity and believability. And so what if the acting is on the level of a high-school play? How’s that different from Swa-chan, Sly and Steven? It’s essentially a recruiting film and a bit too reverential, but it looks great. I was not bored.
