Rembrandts, Van Goghs, Monets and more from New York’s Metropolitan Museum come to Tokyo in a blockbuster show sure to bring out the masses. “Earth, Sea and Sky” is organized thematically to allow viewers to learn how different artists of varying times and countries approached the natural elements with diverse techniques. But the exhibition isn’t limited to paintings: ceramics, tapestries, antiquities and glass pieces by master craftsmen such as Tiffany are also among 130 works on display.
