Charles Dickens’ untimely death left his final mystery novel unfinished—so it’s up to the audience to solve the case in this bumptious musical whodunnit. Building on Britain’s pantomime and music hall traditions to draw everyone in the building into a play-within-a-playhouse meta-theatrical event, over six peformances the Tokyo International Players will encourage audiences to sing, clap and interact with the performers as they try to spot the guilty party among eight possible murderers. The original Broadway production won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Original Score. Raucous and just a little risqué, with colorful characters and remarkable set design, this performance has a little something for everyone!

May 15-18, Theater Sun Mall. See stage listings for details.
