Baltic Island, Japan’s first large-scale showcase dedicated to Baltic illustration and animation, is now open at Spiral Garden in Tokyo, running from June 1 to June 14, 2026. Bringing together contemporary illustration and animation from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, the exhibition introduces Japanese audiences to the distinctive visual cultures of the Baltic region.
