MIDNIGHT EAST presents THE BLESSED MADONNA

MIDNIGHT EAST, a collaborative night venue between Azumaya and Spotify O-EAST, will invite The American house DJ/producer/activist THE BLESSED MADONNA as the next headliner. Born in Kentucky and now based in London, Marea Stamper, aka THE BLESSED MADONNA, used to be the creative director and resident DJ at Chicago club Smartbar, and then she has become a staple of festival circuit almost overnight. In recent years her popularity has spread not only in the underground club scene, such as curating a remix album for UK pop star Dua Lipa. For her first visit to Japan in 6 years, THE BLESSED MADONNA will be joined by Licaxxx, a DJ, beatmaker, editor and radio personality who runs Tokyo Community Radio, and okadada, a DJ/trackmaker who works at a wide range of outdoor festivals and underground parties all over Japan. Stage visual will be handled by Toshifumi Kiuchi, who designed the key visuals of the night and the organiser of LAID BUG. In Azumaya, we will welcome the veteran KABUTO, the organiser of DAZE OF PHAZE/LAIR, and ANiIIIIiiiiiKii who has been DJing since the 90s, TOMOKI from Sapporo who runs STROMA/elastic parties, and Negative Cloud co-organiser EUREKA.
