A long time rock fanatic, Seiichi Uozumi got into music in junior high school and never let it go. He started with Deep Purple covers on his Stratocaster, and with the onset of puberty he began to discover the similarities between the guitar’s shape and the female form. Now in his 40s, he’s finally put the two together in a photography exhibition being held in two cafés in Shimokitazawa. While the shapes may be similar, the two different bodies of man-made musical instruments and human skin meet together in stark monochrome images.
