Postmodern theater performances are increasingly turning into experiences that tantalize all the senses. Award-winning Fuerza Bruta (which means “brute force” in Spanish) promises to go beyond tantalization, however, requiring audiences to look up, down and all around as they’re thrown headlong into a world that comprises the entire arena. Directed by Argentinian Diqui James, any area of the venue is fair game, so watch out. One note: It’s a standing-only event, so don’t bring grandma or the youngest of your wee ones lest they tire themselves out. Also, you may want to reconsider any fancy post-theater dinner arrangements or bring an extra set of clothes. We won’t say any more.
Until Jun 29, Akasaka Sacas. See stage listings for details.
