This December, GPlus Media will be hosting the GaijinPot, a job fair targeting foreigners living in Japan. This year, the exhibition will be held on the 22nd floor of the Kyobashi Edogrand Building, a two-minute walk from Tokyo Station. The exhibition will be held on December 18, 2022, and it will last from 12pm to 5pm. The final admission will be 4:30 PM, so make sure to arrive there on time. 

In the exhibition, job seekers will be able to conduct interviews, learn about new companies, and connect with fellow job hunters. Attendees will be able to meet representatives from one of the top companies in Japan. Company booths will be stationed in the exhibition, and participants will be able to speak with representatives in the interview space. 

Below is a picture of the GaijinPot Expo 2019. Participants will be able to freely interact with companies and fellow job seekers. Companies will also be able to invite attendees for interviews or a light chat. 

Through the exhibition, participants will be able to get access to a wide variety of industries and professions, such as teaching, recruitment, translation, hospitality, and other fields. This year, companies such as Village House Management, FJC Inc., Brain Academy, Borderlink, Daito Kentaku, GLOBIS, Educational Network, Keywords International and Destination Asia will be attending. There will also be several other companies participating that are not yet advertised on this website. This will also be a perfect opportunity for companies to connect and meet foreign nationals, employees, students, and customers living in Japan. 

Aside from the corporate PR booths and interview space, there will also be school promotion booths and English seminars that are held throughout the day. Many universities and schools will be participating in the exhibition. The topic of the English seminars will most definitely be useful to foreign workers, such as tips and tricks for negotiating a job offer and salary in Japan. 

Participants will also be able to take part in several fun activities, and may even have the chance to win prizes. GaijinPot is a wonderful place to meet with companies as well as interact and bond with fellow job seekers while taking part in fun and relaxing activities. This exhibition is also a perfect opportunity for people who are not necessarily actively seeking employment. Participants will still be able to learn about new companies, meet new people, and possibly open up the path for future opportunities and new insights.

Due to Covid, GaijinPot was not held for the past two years, but in the last Gaijin Pot Expo in 2019, there were more than 600 attendees. We are expecting many more participants and applicants this year. However, space is limited due to the Covid-related restrictions, so please make sure to register early.
