If you didn’t catch 2008’s Herb & Dorothy and you’re an art lover, go rent it now. It’s the story of a New York couple, a librarian and a postal worker, who modestly began collecting minimalist and conceptual art in the ’60s. By the time they shipped their collection to Washington’s National Gallery of Art, it was worth millions, but it never occurred to them to sell a thing. Flat-out inspiring. Now filmmaker Megumi Sasaki follows up with this coda, as the couple donates 50 works each to museums in all the states. Decidedly less inspiring, and recommended ONLY for those who have seen the first film.
