Veteran expat pubrocker Kev Gray returns to the Tokyo music scene for a Valentine Blues bash at swanky new Azabu club The Juke Joint. As well as the usual multi-genre bossa nova, funk and soul originals, the band will be playing a set of blues including songs like “Working to Make a Dime” and “Fast Train, Wrong Woman.” Gray has been out of commission after damaging his vocal chords and having to stop singing for a while. In addition to blues numbers he’s promising a taste of new songs being prepared for an upcoming album.
