A young UK singer now residing in Vancouver, Canada, Kieran Strange has a musical approach that yokes sunny pop melodies to crunchy guitar rock, topping it up with synth effects to give it a varnish of British nerd-rock. Strange has worked with Adam Lambert and Avril Lavigne, and is rumored to be on the next Carly Rae Jepsen tour. On her first Japan live-house circuit, she will be supported by local musicians, and for two shows, Kensuke Ito, member of well-known Japanese indie-rock band Prague, will be behind her on the drum kit.
