After backing Norway’s Team Me this spring, UK indie poppers Kyte are back for a proper solo tour. They arrive bearing their fourth and latest outing, Love to Be Lost. Debuting in 2007, the trio of Nick Moon (vocals), Tom Lowe (guitars and keyboards) and Scott Hislop (drums) found wider acclaim when their song “Boundaries” was used in mafia series “The Sopranos.” Recorded in Seattle, Love to Be Lost takes the band’s shoegazer sound in a slightly poppier direction. With the trio taking on incipient Big In Japan status, look for tickets to move quickly.
