Can a daily event itself become art? Seven young artists explore how different meanings can be teased out of a simple event by manipulating ordinary situations and editing common everyday scenes and landscapes to bring about new ways of seeing. “Making Situations, Editing Landscapes” is the theme of the MOT Annual group exhibition and presents photographs, installations, performances, workshops, and texts by artists including Koki Tanaka, who will represent Japan at the next Venice Biennale.
